Mini PC maker Acemagic has unveiled the F9A, described as its most powerful mini PC to date and a 2-liter-class mini AI workstation. The device is built around AMD's Zen 5-based Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, which features 16 cores and 32 threads paired with the Radeon 8060S integrated graphics (RDNA 3.5), said to be strong enough to run modern games without a discrete GPU.

On the AI side, the system includes AMD's XDNA 2 NPU rated at up to 50 TOPS, contributing to a combined system total of up to 126 TOPS across the CPU, GPU, and NPU. TechPowerUp notes this level of performance allows the F9A to locally run large language models with as many as 120 billion parameters, and that multiple units could be clustered to deploy larger models such as DeepSeek-R1-671B.

The F9A supports up to 128 GB of LPDDR5X unified memory and includes two M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe slots for storage. Connectivity includes an OCulink port (PCIe 4.0 x4) for attaching external desktop-class GPUs, along with two 40 Gbps USB4 ports capable of driving external NVMe storage and high-resolution displays; TechPowerUp specifies support for up to four independent 8K monitors. Additional I/O outlined by TechPowerUp includes HDMI 2.1, dual 2.5GbE Ethernet ports, three USB-A 10 Gbps ports, an SD 4.0 card reader, a 3.5mm audio jack, and Wi-Fi 7 with Bluetooth 5.4.

Both sources highlight a dedicated Copilot key on the front panel for quick access to Windows Copilot, along with a 4-microphone far-field array and dual built-in speakers designed for conferencing and voice command use. TechPowerUp adds that the chassis is a CNC-machined, aerospace-grade aluminum unibody available in silver or Space Gray, measuring roughly 158 x 158 x 85 mm, and includes a bottom-mounted RGB light ring with multiple lighting modes.

Wccftech notes that Acemagic also sells a larger, cube-shaped mini PC called the M1A PRO+ that uses the same flagship Strix Halo chip, positioning the F9A as a more compact alternative. Neither source has final pricing; Acemagic says pricing and availability will depend on RAM and storage configuration, with TechPowerUp stating that further details will be announced in the coming weeks.
